NEW "ZERO-10" TAX SYSTEM COMMENCES IN GUERNSEY
Guernsey's new tax system came into effect today. In future most companies will pay zero percent income tax, banks will pay 10%, and regulated utility companies 20%. Companies owned by Guernsey residents will also be taxed at zero percent, but any dividends or distributions that the shareholders take from the company will be taxed at 20%.
